Welcome to our website
Aloha! Our names are Kainalu and Kalalea Grace. We are a young couple from Hawaii with a passion for documenting our family’s memories. With the birth of our baby girl, we are experiencing firsthand just how fast time is flying by. We want to make sure, now more than ever, that we capture life’s precious moments to not only share with our loved ones but also to preserve for our future.
The Story
We were both raised in the Hawaiian culture where learning about our kūpuna (ancestors) and connecting with our immediate and extended families were important. We are blessed to have grown up with a love and appreciation for families and the importance of knowing who we are by knowing the ones who came before us. After getting married and starting our own family together in January 2020, we knew we wanted to do a better job of documenting our lives.
The Solution
At the beginning of 2021, after a year of being newlyweds, we made a goal to do at least one “adventure” every month and make a video out of it. We figured this would serve as a type of journal for our lives while also pushing us to get out of the house. We later realized how fun it was to look back and watch those videos, reliving those memories and feelings of adventure. After some reflecting, we knew this was something we wanted to incorporate into our family; to document our lives, our children, the funny moments, the sad moments, and the joyful moments. We knew that it was not only for us, but also for our kids, family, and friends. While we know that we are not perfect, we are learning new things every day and want to help others document their own family’s adventures.
Our Mission
The purpose of this blog is to educate, inspire, and motivate you to take action! While the road ahead may seem daunting with so many technical skills to learn, it is extremely rewarding and truly an investment in your family’s future. You aren’t getting any younger, your kids are definitely getting older, and time is flying by. Come join our community to appreciate life’s special moments and create videos (and memories) that you will cherish forever.
